June 2006 – Coming Home to the Sweetness of Relating
Overview:
June’s energies support the refinement of our sensitivity in relating to one another. The old training of callousness and cynicism in our relating is falling away. It simply isn’t working anymore. This signals a grand rebirth of sensitivity, intuitive non-violent communication, and empathy, creating a world of more beauty and balance in relating and world-wide connection.
Energy of the Month:
We are all learning together how to let go of our cultural language of separation, competition, and sarcasm. Even the world of business is learning that the number one cause of failure in negotiation is hurt feelings on one side or the other. This element is growing stronger as the earth energies are shifting this month into supporting more sensitivity, emotional awareness, and gentleness in connecting. What we used to consider the “feminine” way of relating – with empathy, story, and nonverbal communication – is integrating into the predominant language of mankind. This integration is creating a world of more beauty, more cooperation, and more creative solutions to personal and global issues.
What to Expect & What to Do:
With this download of sensitivity and empathy, it will become more and more difficult to ignore the plight of our brothers and sisters across the world and across the street. Don’t resist this shift, although the pain out there may seem overwhelming to “process.” You don’t have to process others’ pain. You just can’t ignore it any longer!

Follow your instincts to bring Beauty into others’ lives by lending a helping hand, sharing your resources, and sending prayers and love across the miles. This Beauty will bathe you immediately as you send it out.
