August 2004 – Awakening
To Your Guides Overview:
August 2004 is an awakening of awareness
on a grand scale. We are remembering
that we are not alone. This month is
an opportunity to feel your guides and angels supporting you and guiding you.
Open your ears. Open your
heart. Release the illusion of
control. You don’t control your
life via your ego. Rather, you are a
co-creator of your life with God via your helpers, your guides, your angels. Energy
of the Month: God speaks to us in whatever way we can
most easily understand. For some,
this is entirely through the mouth of institutionalized religion.
But for many, whose numbers are growing as the energy of the world
changes, God comes through messengers and helpers – angels, guides, guardian
spirits. Beginning in August 2004, the
energy of connection between the angelic and human realms is strengthening.
Whether you “feel” the presence of your guides, you sense your angels
speaking to you through the lyrics of a song, or you can hear clear voices of
wisdom in your mind, guiding you through life, you are in constant communication
with your guides – consciously or not. There is no skill required to make use
of your heavenly helpers. Prayer –
the act of requesting help with Good Intent – is all that is required.
After that, you sit and listen. You
will Know the voice of Wisdom when it comes, though your mind will likely argue
every point. Prayer brings answers.
Listening demands discernment. Whenever
you receive information or guidance from beyond, check its validity in your
heart. Your heart knows what’s
best for you. And even if you get
clear guidance from your helpers, you choose your own actions for yourself.
Do not allow yourself to submit totally to even your angels.
God gave you free will as a sacred gift and birthright.
Use your choice to decide how, when, and whether to follow your guides’
advice. They work for your Highest
Good. You can even tell them to go
away if that is your wish. What
to Expect: Receiving information and “messages”
in all kinds of ways tha Increased sighting of your angels and
guides – perhaps just out of the corner of your eye. Vivid dreams where you are visited by
angels, helpers or ancestors. Feeling a loving presence nearby and
never feeling totally alone. Increased experiences of serendipity or
being “set up” in life – as if your life is being divinely guided. What
to Do: Sit in quiet prayer and listening. Allow yourself to hear the messages
coming through song lyrics, billboards, etc. If you feel a guide around you, ask for
his/her name (or name him/her yourself) and try communicating. Be patient with yourself.
Do not demand perfect communication, or perfect clarity. Know that your own way of perceiving
your guides – feeling, seeing, or even smelling – is a valid and wonderful
